Itinerary
Your experience
1
Meet your guide at the confirmed hotel pickup point or central meeting location. Begin the journey along the Atlantic Seaboard, with scenic views of the coastline, beaches, and the Twelve Apostles. The exact departure time and route depend on the selected operator and traffic conditions.
2
Pause at suitable viewpoints around Camps Bay or Maiden's Cove for photographs. Continue to Hout Bay, a coastal harbour community where guests can explore the waterfront. An optional boat excursion to a nearby seal-viewing area may be available at additional cost and is subject to sea and weather conditions.
3
Travel along the spectacular cliffside road between Hout Bay and Noordhoek when it is open. Stop only at designated viewpoints where safe and permitted. If the road closes because of weather, rockfall, maintenance, or other restrictions, the guide will use an alternative route where possible.
4
Explore the Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope area within the reserve. Enjoy coastal scenery, indigenous fynbos, and designated viewpoints. Guests can walk to selected viewpoints or use the Flying Dutchman funicular to approach the upper lighthouse area if operating and if the ticket is included or purchased separately.
5
Take a break at an available restaurant, café, or approved picnic area. Lunch is at the guest's own expense unless explicitly included in the confirmed tour package. The exact lunch location depends on timing and operating conditions.
6
Visit the Boulders Beach penguin viewing area and follow the designated boardwalks or visitor paths. Observe African penguins responsibly without approaching, feeding, touching, or disturbing them. Access fees are payable separately unless the final quotation confirms they are included.
7
Pass through or stop in historic Simon's Town, subject to the day's schedule. Continue along the False Bay coastline, with possible views of coastal villages and beaches, before returning to Cape Town.
8
Arrive back at the agreed drop-off point. The return time is approximate and can vary with traffic, visitor queues, road closures, and the time spent at each attraction.
