Meet the confirmed transfer vehicle at your designated lodge or collection point while it is still dark. Travel to the balloon operator's launch area near Sesriem. Exact pickup time depends on accommodation location and the sunrise schedule.

Meet the balloon crew and pilot, receive the passenger safety briefing and observe the balloon being prepared and inflated. Follow all crew instructions when approaching and boarding the basket.

Lift off as the desert begins to glow in the early morning light. Drift over the surrounding sand sea, open plains and mountain scenery, with the route determined by wind direction and the pilot's operational decisions.

Land at a location selected according to the wind and operational conditions. The ground crew meets the balloon and assists passengers with disembarkation.
